The AM-013 Barrel Stabilizer Unit (BSU) is designed to lock the internal barrel preventing any vibration movement at the muzzle, which causes major inconsistencies in long range shooting.
Once installed, shots will be straighter with a proven improvement in groupings. In addition, your Ares Amoeba AM-013 will immediately run quieter as the stabilizer closes the vacuum inside the silencer eliminating echoes during firing.
- Perfectly centered internal barrel
- Avoid barrel internal barrel dips before the ball comes out.
- No vibration in the inner barrel means that the hop-up effect on the ball will not be affected as there is less chance of it bouncing inside the barrel before it exits.

Special note: make sure the muffler cap can be unscrewed for the BSU to fit properly. There are variations where the muffler is one piece and the BSU cannot be installed.
Some models, especially in the USA, have the cap attached with an adhesive that may need to be melted in order to unscrew the cap.
Before attempting this, be careful and use thick gloves for protection from the intense heat and preferably with an elastic texture for a better grip on the muffler cap. You can use a number of tools to create the heat including: dipping in boiling water, heat gun, hair dryer, etc. Apply heat gradually to the muffler cap and then try turning the cap with a protective glove. Repeat with more heat exposure if necessary until the muffler cover is completely dry.
