The Crossfire 2 MOA is a quality red dot rifle scope that is hard to beat. It is the replacement for the very popular Sparc II. If you are looking for a super lightweight, ultra-compact red dot that will reach your target incredibly fast, then this Vortex Crossfire scope is the way to go. It's a durable red dot with a low-glare matte finish. With the control button on the side you can control the dot, such as on/off and dot brightness. The Crossfire is equipped with a bright 2 MOA daylight red dot for an accurate point of impact. With the 2 MOA dot, you can get close to targets quickly, but it is also good enough for accurate targets at a distance. The dot is adjustable in 11 brightness levels. This means it is always clearly visible, regardless of lighting conditions or background.

Pros of the Vortex Crossfire

The red dot is equipped with fully multi-coated lenses. Multiple anti-reflective coatings on all outer lens surfaces increase light transmission. The body is made of 6060 aluminum which is also used for aircraft. It is waterproof, fogproof and shockproof for maximum durability and has a matte finish, which helps camouflage the shooting position. The red dot uses a CR 2032 battery. Battery runtime is approximately 7000 hours at average brightness. It does not have automatic shut-off.

Vortex Crossfire Application

The Crossfire red dot is suitable for many applications including hunting, law enforcement and various tactical purposes. As such, it can be used on most AR weapons thanks to the standard 22mm picatinny mount. It is also suitable for shotguns and for mounting on pistols and revolvers. Finally, the Crossfire is ideal for use with airsoft guns.

Crossfire red dot mounting options

The supplied mount offers two different mounting height options;

The skeletonized mount places the red dot 40 mm above the rail, on the other hand the 1/3 Co-Witness lower mount places the red dot 18 mm above the rail. This mount is also perfect for mounting the Crossfirfe on a picatinny rail gun. The Crossfire can withstand high recoil and is .50 BMG caliber resistant.
